Skipping Success
On 4th of October 2024 our whole school was buzzing with excitement and energy as students of all ages took part in a fantastic Skipathon event! From Junior Infants to Sixth Class, everyone picked up their skipping ropes to join forces and raise much-needed funds for our school.
Our 5th Class children were ready to show off their skipping skills and had a great time mastering their double-unders, perfecting criss-cross jumps, joining in with group skips or simply having a solo skip .The enthusiasm was infectious.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who contributed, supported, and helped organise this event. It’s clear that the Skipathon was a huge success, not only in terms of fundraising but also in fostering teamwork, fitness, and a sense of pride in our school. We couldn’t have done it without the enthusiasm and generosity of our school community!
