Glór na Mara are working towards achieving our Active School Flag. The goal of the Active School Flag is to encourage students to move more and get active at school and at home. Since November, all classes have been taking part in the Active Break Challenge where they participate in at least one active movement break a day. We also had a number of Feel Good Fridays where the students (and their teachers) got to show off their dance moves in the yard at lunch time!
Our new Active School Flag Committee was selected from a huge number of student applications. In the video below, we introduce our wonderful and energetic committee members and our new Active School slogan is revealed! Huge congratulations to Aitana in 6th class who came up with the winning slogan.
