Well done to the 8 members of Glór Na Mara chess club who represented their school at their very first chess competition last week. A team of 8 pupils travelled to the Gaelscoil in Tramore to play against 112 other students. The school received a beautiful plaque as it was our first time competing in this competition. Our team were amazing and all came away with lots of wins. We would like to give a special congratulations to Leroy who won all 6 of his games by checkmate!
We look forward to competing again next year.
