We had a very special visit today from Katriina Bent as part of a Heritage in Schools Programme. Katriina is a Heritage Council biodiversity specialist. Our 4th class students had a wonderful morning outside where they watched and listened out for many different birds. We were very lucky to spot eleven different species! The afternoon was spent creating a beautiful craft which reminds us of the hard work that birds do to create their own nests. Bhain gach duine taitneamh as an lá!
