6th class enjoyed visiting Ardscoil to take part in paired science with transition year students.
We learned about the Periodic Table of Elements and we engaged in an exciting experiment involving magnesium. When magnesium is combined with water, it undergoes a chemical reaction, producing hydrogen gas. This is often accompanied by a distinctive "pop" sound.
