5th Class Festivities: A Festive December to Remember!
The run-up to Christmas in 5th class was filled with excitement, creativity, and plenty of festive cheer. Our 5th class students certainly made the most of the season, engaging in a variety of activities that brought holiday magic to life.
To kick off the festive season, our classroom windows became a canvas for Christmas-themed artwork. The students worked together to create beautiful decorations, transforming the room into a winter wonderland. Snowflakes, Santa’s sleigh, and twinkling lights filled the windows, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Next, we added a bit of flair to our holiday celebrations with a Christmas jumper competition. The creativity of the 5th class students truly shone through, with designs ranging from classic reindeer patterns to colourful, sparkling creations. It was a tough decision, but the winners Yonny and Megan, received a special treat—a hot chocolate voucher for Zuca Brew!
In the spirit of giving and community, the 5th class students were delighted to attend the 1st class Christmas Nativity play, led by Ms. Ridgard. The younger students put on a beautiful performance, re-enacting the Christmas story with heart-warming enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see our older students support their younger peers and enjoy the magic of the season through their eyes.
No Christmas celebration would be complete without a carol service! The entire school came together to sing Christmas carols in a beautiful whole-school service at the church organised by Ms Dineen. Father Richard led us in a touching Mass, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas and giving us all a moment of reflection.
The 5th class students truly embraced the festive spirit, creating memories that will last long after the holiday season. We hope everyone has a restful and joyful break, and we look forward to more fun and learning in the New Year!
Happy Christmas from 5th Class!
